For those with an interest in history, Dover Castle on the famous White Cliffs has a fascinating and moving history dating from the Romans to World War II. The world's oldest known seagoing boat can be found at Dover Museum, alongside the Roman painted House.

Nearby Deal is a charming and characterful coastal town with a rich maritime history and a growing reputation for fine dining. Our sister house, Edmund House, is located just a stone's throw from Henry VIII's Deal and Walmer Castles.

Our sister Guest House, Edmund House in nearby Deal, is hosting a Photography Workshop from 6-8 May. Guests at Crabble Hill House are welcome to enrol on the photography workshop, or you may prefer to stay at Edmund House in Deal.

Golfers are spoilt for choice on this Royal Golf Coast. With four Open Championship standard courses locally, there is a challenge for every golfer!

Dover and surrounding villages has some excellent retaurants, pubs and clubs including The Kingfisher, Dover's first gay pub.
